Sam Kavitsky, Co-President
Sam Kavitsky has an extensive family history in the insurance industry. His great grandmother was among the first female Metropolitan Life agents and both his Grandfather and Father made a living selling insurance. Starting early in his career, Sam interned at Allianz Life Insurance of North America while attending college at the University of Minnesota. Sam continued his career in the insurance industry working with two nationally recognized IMOs before joining Life Sales in 2004. After serving as a manager and then Vice President of Sales, he was made Co-President of Life Sales, LLC in 2008. Sam’s experience with multiple IMOs has allowed him to work with countless agent incentive programs which translates to his high standards when it comes to Life Sales value-adds.

Steve Thunen, Co-President
Steve Thunen graduated from the University of California, Davis with a BA in Economics. He also served in the United States Navy as a sonar operator and later in the Navy Reserves. Steve began his financial career as a retail agent in 1992 producing in both wire-houses and banks. In 2000, he moved to Legacy Marketing Group as a Regional Sales Director where he traveled the country working with national IMOs. He joined Life Sales, LLC in 2004 as the Business Development Manager and became Co-President in 2008. Steve’s unique combination of experience at the retail, manufacturer, and wholesale levels helps him bring a balanced perspective to any situation.
